Question: What do I do if I get the error 'Internet connection could not be found'?

Answer:

If you encounter a network error or a timeout, you may see the following dialogue box:



This dialogue box indicates that you are downloading through a Proxy Server*. To complete the download through the proxy, please follow these steps:
  1. Click on the "Advanced" button. The "Advanced Connection Settings" box will pop up:

  2. Increase your Timeout setting to 300 second.
  3. Type in your Proxy Server's HTTP address and Port Number. You can get this information from your System Administrator or by completing the following steps:

    If using Internet Explorer:

    1. On your browser menu, open TOOLS:INTERNET OPTIONS:CONNECTIONS:LAN SETTINGS:
    2. The LAN settings will contain the Proxy server and Port number.
    3. Copy the proxy server and port number from the LAN Settings to the "Advanced Connection Setting window"
    4. Click OK
    5. Resume the download


    If using Netscape Navigator:
    1. On your browser menu, open EDIT:PREFERENCES:ADVANCED:PROXIES
    2. Select the MANUAL PROXY CONFIGURATION VIEW
    3. Copy the proxy server and port number to the "Advanced Connection Setting window"
    4. Click OK
    5. Resume the download
